Coleman Elementary School Counseling

Hello! My name is Rocelyn Dacre and I am the new full-time School Counselor at Coleman Elementary School. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Fordham University in New York City and lived in New York working as a nanny and preschool teacher for 2 years after college. New York has my heart! I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology and Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of San Francisco in the Spring of 2021, during which I completed my first year internship here at Coleman during the 2019-2020 school year. I am originally from Novato, and have called Marin my home for most of my life. I now live in San Francisco's Mission District, and have a sweet pup named Tracy! I grew up Irish dancing competitively and doing musical theater, and now love to do yoga, go on beach walks with Tracy, and bake every recipe I can try. I have spent most of my working life nannying, and have a great passion for working with young children and helping them to do and feel the best that they can.
