Principal's Update
Dear Coleman Families,

As we return from the Thanksgiving holiday break, I want to take a moment to share my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support and partnership of our parent community. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the many blessings in our lives, and one of the greatest gifts we have at Coleman is the strong collaboration between our school and our families.

Your dedication to your children’s education, involvement in school activities, and unwavering support create the warmth and joy that make Coleman such a special place. Together, we continue to nurture a community where our students thrive and feel inspired to grow every day.

Thank you for everything you do to make our school a welcoming and wonderful place for everyone.

Coleman Connect

The Coleman Connect is moving to a weekly message from the PTO every Wednesday. Please check your feed every Wednesday to stay updated with fun and important activities outside of school.

We Are Water Protectors
Book Recommendation - We Are Water Protectors
As we leave Native American Heritage Month (November), I wanted to share the beautifully illustrated book with a powerful message: We Are Water Protectors. Author Carole Lindstrom issues an urgent rallying cry to safeguard the Earth’s water from harm and corruption—inviting young readers everywhere to join the fight.

The book opens with: Water is the first medicine.
It affects and connects us all . . .

Parking and Drop-off
Drop-up Procedures:
  • If you’re using the roundabout to drop off your students, please ensure that they can open and close their doors independently—drivers must always remain in their seats.  We suggest you give a hug and a kiss before you enter the car or park on Belle Avenue and take your student to school.
  • Please pull as close to the stop sign as possible before you let your kids out; this keeps the flow of traffic moving.
  • Beginning at 7:40 am, the Transportation Authority of Marin’s crossing guard supports families walking across Belle Avenue to and from Coleman.
  • Please stop for pedestrians so they can cross the street safely.
  • We have traffic entering the roundabout southbound, making a left turn, and northbound, making a right turn.
  • Please alternate making turns into the roundabout to ensure that we keep traffic moving in both directions.
